I love this bro!! Was Serum used and did you create your own basses? Anyway this is gr8 and good job!! Also what is keeping me away from 5 star is that it is too short. The break, build-up and the drop were much too short and please fix that otherwise this is cool bro and the mastering is amazing and good job and keep up the great work!! :) ;) ;D :D

Spline-1337 responds:

Thanks for the tips! I will surely keep in mind in future tracks!

XD I bet you spent to hard trying so hard not to do Orchestral Dubstep XD figured that out before the drop and this is still good tho. The Only thing keeping me away fro five stars is that there is barley and variations but otherwise its fine bro nice!! :) ;) ;D :D

Uxvellda responds:

True!

I love it but the only constructive criticism (I know this is old) I have for it that that everything sounds compressed in this except for the melody and the drums sound extremely compressed but it is awesome other wise and I love it :) ;D ;) :D

Sharks responds:

if you know this is really old
i don't get the point of giving criticism if it's not going to help since i already know the problems and apply the feedback on mu songs

Sounds Nice but is the first drop snares would be nice and I don't think know any genres with this kind of music. Also the kicks sound somewhat distorted mainly in the first drop but it fixes heavily in the second one.The drums also sound over coated and sound very compressed that is something to fix. But I really like the song tho!! Really good job the start of the song sounds very good and peaceful and then there is a powerful drop and another one but just more uplifting and happier than the first one. Really nice job keep up the great work!! :) ;) ;D :D

SUNSCREECH responds:

The first drop kick was distorted on purpose.
Thanks for that hugely helpful feedback tho !

Nice dude! but the guitar just kind of dosn't fit like it goes from sick heavy metal to a sick dubstep drop it kind of dosen't fit but I like the idea and the drums aren't for dubstep at all. Otherwise it is fine and good job!!

P.S. I know this is old like your fourth song but I am just saying; good job tho!!

TheMajician responds:

Haha thanks!

Very good I like it it kind of has a sad feeling to it and does feel like an outro.
Good job dude!
If you want I will scout you! And you made this by yourself? If so then what did you use? record irl or from a DAW like Fl Studio or Ableton Live

Zhon responds:

Thanks! This was recorded on a keyboard, it's quite old but still a favorite melody of mine. I'm just now getting into DAWs. I appreciate the review.

Like the drum pattern but needs a Melody (last time u asked me what is a Melody and I never responded srry bout that) is the base of the song like Fur Elise by Beethoven is only a Melody and to get started go to where you open plugins and use FL Let's and when u get more experienced with FL studio get the best best (Close Grand for direct wave) and use that for a piano and when you get into sound designing you can make ur own sounds (u can also do that from already made presents). You know what? I will make a youtube video on the basics of FL studio 20 (when I can) (I have the demo
unfortunately) so u will understand it bwtter. It gets easier to use with enough practice!! :)

EverythingYouWish responds:

Thank you for your care-full report I will try my best. Also I would like to have a video about how to use FL 20.

Nice Melodic Dubstep you got here the chords and lead and the drops, they all sync and the fillers sound great!...I wish I could get the full version of serum :( (I have demo) But at least I don't completly need it in order to make good music I just need some practice in sound design!:) but you are amazing and I would use this in geometry dash when I get a new pc (that isn't so fricking crappy) anyway good job on mixing and mastering and everything and keep up the great work!! Btw this is the very first song I ever heard from you lol. :) ;) ;D :D

Hippokopter responds:

Um, ok then xD

Well hey, about the whole idea of gear - I've been thinking about that. In the electronic world, there are times where a certain kind of sound is just not achievable with methods that a person may have access to. Skill obviously plays a role, but I'm not sure it plays a role to the degree that people think it does.

What I mean by all of that is that it might actually be wise to get Serum. You probably know they have a monthly payment plan, and if you're on a tight budget, that might be a good idea. If you're able, though, I think it's actually cheaper overall to just buy it with a one-time payment. (You'd have to fact check me, but I think that's right... I think... xD)\

Look, if you find that you really like the demo version, and you continue to like it for a month or two, just do yourself a favor and get it. It really is the best sound design tool. (Nowadays it's probably necessary if you want to compete in the dubstep world.) It's just beyond intuitive to use, and the sheer ability of the thing is incredible. Plus, there's oodles of tutorials on the internet.

Anyways, thanks for the long review. I look forward to your feedback on future songs! :D

I'm a 19 y/o male that uses a Surface Go 2 laptop to produce music in FL Studio.
(Current Artist name is TCP btw, its just that I can't pay to be a supporter atm lol)
